FREEFORM’S FAN FAVORITE ORIGINAL COMEDY ‘BABY DADDY’ WINS
THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD FOR ‘FAVORITE CABLE TV COMEDY’
Season Six of ‘Baby Daddy’ Premieres Monday, March 13, on Freeform

Last night Freeform’s No. 1 comedy “Baby Daddy” took home the award for “Favorite Cable TV Comedy” at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California. Having been nominated for the honor twice before, this is the show’s first People’s Choice Award win. The exciting win precedes the beloved sitcom’s return to the small screen this spring for its sixth season, which will bring the show to a landmark 100 episodes. “Baby Daddy”’s season six premiere will air on Monday, March 13, at 8:30 p.m. EDT on Freeform. The series has also recently been nominated for an Art Directors Guild Award for “Excellence in Production Design for Television: Multi-Camera Series” under the direction of production designer Greg Grande.
“We are beyond thrilled and genuinely honored to win this year’s award for ‘Favorite Cable TV Comedy.’ It’s a privilege to be a part of a show that resonates with its audience so deeply six seasons in,” said creator and executive producer Dan Berendsen. “We have the most loyal and passionate fans in the business, and they are why we do what we do.”

"We, the cast and crew of ‘Baby Daddy,’ are incredibly grateful just to have been nominated,” said actor Jean-Luc Bilodeau. “A huge thank you to each and every fan who voted and those who tune in week after week. Here’s to another 100 episodes!"

The season six premiere picks up three months after the finale, and Ben is still enthusiastically searching for the mysterious Elle. Danny and Riley are hunting for a good doctor to help with the pregnancy, and Bonnie desperately wants to be involved. Tucker is back from Los Angeles, but he refuses to tell anyone what happened while he was there.

The series stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Derek Theler, Tahj Mowry, Melissa Peterman and Chelsea Kane. The series is created and executive produced by Dan Berendsen. Heidi Clements, Vince Cheung, Ben Montanio and Michael Lembeck also serve as executive producers.
