Called an Aussie Downton Abbey, A Place to Call Home: Season 4 makes its DVD debut on February 28, 2017 from Acorn, an RLJ Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand. Against the backdrop of post-World War II Australia, A Place to Call Home stars Marta Dusseldorp (Janet King, Jack Irish) as Sarah Nordmann, a nurse who becomes involved in the affairs of the wealthy Bligh family. Dealing with themes such as anti-Semitism, sexuality, and social class, this rich and meaningful, high-quality production has been hailed as one of the best television series of 2015 by The Wall Street Journal. The DVD 3-Disc set features 12 episodes ($59.99). Season 4 made its U.S. premiere in November 2016 on Acorn TV, the premier streaming service for world class television from Britain and beyond. The series has been commissioned for a fifth season.

As the smash hit drama returns, nurse Sarah Nordmann (Dusseldorp) and the wealthy Bligh family face new challenges amid sweeping social change in 1950s Australia. Villainous Regina (Jenni Baird, The 4400) has finally ensnared Bligh patriarch and political aspirant George (Brett Climo, Snowy River: The McGregor Saga) in marriage, but she continues to plot against Sarah, exploiting the rising fear of Communism to target her rival. As Sarah teams up with formidable dowager Elizabeth (Noni Hazlehurst, Little Fish) to expose Regina, James (David Berry, Outlander) and his estranged wife, Olivia (Arianwen Parkes-Lockwood, Underbelly), forge a fragile peace, and Anna (Abby Earl, The Great Mint Swindle) strives to advance her literary career.

Universally praised by critics and adored by audiences, this is a "captivatingly filmed, deeply romantic drama of intense intelligence" (The Wall Street Journal). The supremely talented cast also features Craig Hall (The Doctor Blake Mysteries), Frankie J. Holden (Something in the Air), Aldo Mignone (Danger 5), and Sara Wiseman (Mercy Peak).
