Kicking Off February 6, Ovation Offers Up Docs on Grammy Winners Past and Present
Los Angeles, CA - February 1, 2017 Music lovers will want to set their DVRs for some binge-worthy music documentaries airing on Ovation TV beginning February 6. America's only arts network will pay tribute to the GRAMMY(R) Awards by featuring some of the recording industry's biggest winners, including Kanye West, Adele, Bruno Mars, Whitney Houston and Justin Timberlake. Here are the highlights for the week:
Whitney Houston: The Greatest Love of All (1 hr) - Monday, February 6 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT - From an early age, Grammy(R) Hall of Famer Whitney Elizabeth Houston showed the vocal range and star quality that would soon make her a legend in the music world. Winner of six Grammy awards, Houston was nominated a total of twenty-six times. This special features those who knew her as "Nippy," retraces her steps to stardom and revisits some of her most stunning performances.
Justin Timberlake: Dressed to Thrill (1 hr) - Tuesday, February 7 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT - From humble beginnings in Shelby Forest singing in his father's church choir, to his first appearance as a Star Search contestant singing country at the age of 11, Justin Timberlake was destined for a life of fame.
