2040 A.D. They created him to kill their enemies...but he refuses to destroy anymore! Renegade "synthoid" Zeta (voice of Diedrich Bader, Batman: The Brave and the Bold), marked for reprogramming after developing a conscience and defying his evil orders, flees from a ruthless government agent. Capable of transforming himself at will into any human shape, and possessing amazing cybernetic resources, Zeta joins Ro (voice of Julie Nathanson, Beverly Hills 90210 [1996-1997]) a 15-year-old street kid in her own kind of trouble with the law. In this spin-off from the blockbuster animated series Batman Beyond, futuristic vehicles, weapons and technology meld with the touching and humorous story of two misfits who need each other to survive in a dangerous world. In 2009, stores received a Warner DVD release titled, "The Zeta Project - Season 1"...a two-disc, 12-episode package. The item was discontinued a while back, and fans have been longing for more from the show. This Kids' WB animated series ran for 2 seasons and 26 episodes, with 12 in the first and 14 episodes in the second/last season. Now the Warner Archive has announced that on March 14th they will release The Zeta Project - Season 2 on DVD. Our thanks to reader Jackson Burnett for the heads-up! This new manufacture on demand title will cost $24.99 SRP, and cover art is below. Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program has a listing for the title, but they aren't taking pre-orders as of this writing. On the other hand, you can pre-order it from Warner's own WBshop.com online store right now, using the button link above the cover art. On the same date, the Warner Archive will also re-release Season 1 of the show, with the same box art as the 2009 release, and apparently with the same on-disc content as well.
