The Statler Brothers Show - Industry Source Says to Expect 'The Best Of, Volume 1' This Spring! The 7-season-long show on The Nashville Network ('TNN') is coming to DVD

Now HERE is a news story that quite frankly took us by surprise! And a pleasant one it is, too...we really never expected to be bringing THIS story to our readers. But yesterday the folks at VideoETA, a website produced by home video distributor Ingram Entertainment, said that on April 21st there will be a DVD release for "The Best of Statler TV Shows Volume 1." There are NO details available from them, nor cover art. They only say that it will be priced at $84.98 SRP (so that ought to include a nicely big chunk of the TNN program's 7-season run!), and that it's being produced by the Universal Music Group. This is VERY thin info, and we haven't gotten it confirmed by a second source yet. However, VideoETA has always proven to be trustworthy in the past, so we didn't want to wait on passing along this title, price and date to our readers.
