The most recent 10-episode season stars Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Lily Rabe, André Holland, Denis O'Hare, Wes Bentley, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, and Angela Bassett, with appearances by Lady Gaga, Frances Conroy, Finn Wittrock, Leslie Jordan and Chaz Bono. This arc was seen on the FX cable channel last fall, and the show has been renewed for three more seasons. The seventh season is scheduled to premiere in September! Now Amazon has begun taking pre-orders for releases of American Horror Story - The Complete 6th Season: Roanoke on both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. These listings are prior to the official Fox Home Entertainment announcement for the item, though, so instead of a street date Amazon merely says "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, currently showing $39.98 SRP and $49.99 SRP, respectively (you can, of course, guarantee your copy right away, if you order it using either of the above links). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entry, but there is some early box art on display (may not be finalized yet, and could be subject to change).
