Kingdom - Was the 'Seasons 1 and 2' DVD Set Knocked Out of the Schedule? NO! This item has become a Walmart exclusive, for the first 60 days of its release

Less than two weeks ago, we brought you Shout! Factory's press release that formally announced their DVD release of Kingdom - Seasons 1 and 2 for June 6th. However, something seems to have changed: Amazon.com's pre-order listing for this title is no longer showing a day, where it had previously displayed the early June street date. Now the entry there has been changed to say, "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Furthermore, Shout! Factory's online studio store isn't listing it any longer; the page which had been there for it has been removed. So we reached out to Shout! Factory to seek information about the status of this item, and to check and see if the title has truly been pulled off of the release schedule. As it turns out, the answer is "NO!" Our contacts at Shout! inform us that this item will be a 60-day exclusive at Walmart stores. The title isn't listed at Walmart.com yet, but is expected to show up there in the not-too-distant future. Content, box art and pricing remain unchanged, and the date of the Walmart exclusive is still set for a June 6th release. When we have a specific date for the "wide" general release (probably sometime around early August), we'll let you know! Stay tuned...
