IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE...AND MAGIC IS REAL! In a time long past, when magic was fading from the world of men, the malevolent sorceress Mab (Miranda Richardson) summoned forth a mighty wizard to keep the power of the Old Ways alive. The wizard's name was Merlin (Sam Neill). But when his heart is touched by the love of the beautiful Nimue (Isabella Rossellini), Merlin turns away from Mab's dark enchantments.

Allying himself with the young warrior who will rise to become the legendary King Arthur, Merlin pledges his mystic skills to Arthur's visionary cause: Bringing peace and justice to the realm haunted by monsters and ravaged by war, and setting the stage for the ultimate clash of Good versus Evil. Starring: Sam Neill, Helena Bonham Carter, Rutger Hauer, Martin Short, Miranda Richardson, Sir John Gielgud, Isabella Rossellini, James Earl Jones, Lena Headey and more!
Released on DVD twice before (in 1998 by long-defunct Artisan Entertainment, and then in 2004 by Lionsgate), the folks at Mill Creek Entertainment are re-releasing the 1998 mini-series starring Sam Neill (Jurassic Park, The Hunt for Red October, The Piano, Omen III: The Final Conflict, upcoming Thor: Ragnarok).

Merlin - The Complete Mini-Series Event will be available at stores on June 6th. The single-disc title of the Emmy-winning program will cost just $14.98 SRP. It features special effects from Jim Henson's Creature Shop, and was directed by Steve Barron (best remembered for his classic '80s music videos, such as A-Ha's Take On Me, Dire Straits' Money For Nothing, Madonna's Burning Up, and Michael Jackson's Billy Jean). Here's the new package art for this item!
