NBC’S ‘LITTLE BIG SHOTS’ HEATS UP SUMMER PRIMETIME WITH MOVE TO WEDNESDAYS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — May 30, 2017 — NBC’s family-friendly series “Little Big Shots” is heating up summer with a move from Sundays to Wednesdays beginning May 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Following the final three episodes of the season, the fun keeps going with “Little Big Shots: Forever Young,” where young-at-heart seniors will showcase their hidden talents, vibrant personalities and incredible wisdom.

Extraordinary kids featured in the May 31 telecast include an 8-year-old newscaster (Germantown, Md.), a 7-year-old stand-up comedian (Carlsbad, Calif.) and a talented boy band from Mexico. Host Steve Harvey also visits with an impressive aerial acrobat from Moscow, sisters who became a viral sensation (Cranston, R.I.) and two of the most accomplished young ping pong players in the U.S. (Chicago).

A talented family of sibling acapella singers (Valdosta, Ga.) appear in the June 7 episode, along with an incredible young cellist (Goodyear, Ariz.), amazing performers from China and an impressive national gymnastics champion and Olympic hopeful (Erie, Pa.). Other phenomenal kids showcasing their talent include a remarkable 12-year-old opera singer from Holland and an inspiring motivational speaker who is just 10 years old (Orange, N.J.).

On June 14 a special return performance of fan favorites will include, Caleb, a 4-year-old worship leader (Greensboro, N.C.), and Reuben, an exceptional singer from Wales, along with Brandon, an amazing 10-year-old piano player from season one (Miami, Fla.). Other talented children featured include a 5-year-old who became an Internet sensation (Collinwood, Tenn.), a break dancer (Oak Park, Ill.), a magician (Oldham, U.K.), a brick-breaking karate kid (Madison Heights, Mich.) and a hoop dancer (Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Ariz.). Harvey also visits with the show’s impressive team of kid translators who have helped him communicate with all the international Little Big Shots this season.

In season two “Little Big Shots” has averaged a 1.8 rating in adults 18-49 and 10.3 million viewers overall in “live plus seven day” averages from Nielsen Media Research, ranking it #1 in its Sunday 8-9 p.m. time period in adults 18-49 and #1 or tied for #1 in adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos (“most current”). “Little Big Shots” has built by +157% on its lead-in in 18-49 (1.8 vs. 0.7 L+7) and by +5.8 million viewers or +128% in total viewers (10.3 million vs. 4.5 million).

“Little Big Shots” showcased the talent and comedy of the very young. Now the spotlight turns to America’s seniors with “Little Big Shots: Forever Young,” where Harvey will showcase undiscovered rare talents and hysterical encounters with musicians, singers, dancers and every form of “elderkind” in the country. With many years of experience and wisdom, these seniors are sure to delight the audience with their strong opinions, incredible talent, and heartwarming stories.
