NEW YORK, May 22, 2017 Complex Networks announced that its newest docu-series ‘Going Cambo!’ featuring young survivalist, CameronCambo” Bowling is to be launched on Rated Red May 30 available for free only on go90. The series follows the young, free-spirited Southerner as he takes a special guest out of their element to show them not only how to survive but to enjoy life’s adventures, in the wilds of Alabama. Each week three episodes ranging in length from six-nine minutes are scheduled for release on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. “Going Cambo” is executive produced by Alabama native, hip-hop artist, and fellow “Slumerican” Yelawolf, who appears in each episode to help brief Cambo on his next guest visitor. New episodes of “Going Cambo,” a Rated Red production, are available for free only on go90.com or the go90 app, available for iOS or Android.

"Cambo’s ability to turn the average person’s nightmare survival scenario into his own private theme park is his genius,” remarked Yellawolf. “I feel like God sent Cambo to save humanity from a "zombie" apocalypse. He doesn't just survive he thrives!"

Cambo is a 20-something, self-taught survivalist who thrives on being one with the wild. While others his age opted for video games and the latest tech items, Cambo retreated to the swampland and wilderness of Alabama and taught himself how to live off the land. The woods and marshes are now his playground and way of life.

In the series, Cambo takes one guest under his wing to share his raw knowledge of being free and living off the land. The guests are dropped off at remote locations in the backwoods of Alabama where they meet up with Cambo, who shows the ‘fish-out-of-water’ how to live with only the clothes on their back and Cambo’s well-used buck knife. Cambo’s unsuspecting guests are in for a once-in-a-lifetime experience as things get wild when Cambo bites a sneak’s head off, snacks on scorpions, goes on a hunt for game including an alligator, armadillo and even a goat. Together, they become one with the wild as they traverse uncertain terrain and set up camp for their two-night adventure that will give real meaning to ‘Going Cambo!’

“I live in the woods, but it’s not about survival, it’s my way of life,” adds Cambo.

The premiere episode brings rap artist Cook-up Boss out of the streets of Nashville, TN to drop in on Cambo. Cook-up is straight from the streets and has never stepped foot in the woods, so the backwoods of Alabama will be the ultimate test when he finds himself on a hike and facing his fears by rappelling down the side of a cliff.
‘Going Cambo!’ is executive produced by Yelawolf, Mike Wolfe, Shaun Silva, and Brian Friedman; Justin Killion and Melanie Moreau are executive producers for Complex Networks. David Barsky serves as co-executive producer.
