Some individual DVD releases (from a defunct outfit called York Entertainment) came out between 2000 and 2004. Then we got USA season sets in 2009 from eOne Entertainment (and Canadians got them in 2010 from Alliance Entertainment). All those DVDs have gone out of print long ago. But if you're looking to own this 2-season-long show (spun off from the David Bowie/Susan Sarandon film of the same name), then never fear! Filmrise Entertainment has released The Hunger - The Complete 1st Season and The Hunger - The Complete 2nd Season on both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. Both titles, in both formats, came out this past Friday, April 28th, as manufacture on demand (MOD) titles, available from various online sellers. One of those sellers, Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program (see button link below), says they've had these items since March 3rd, so perhaps this past week the titles simply got wider distribution than before. The DVD sets are 3-disc packages priced at $29.95 SRP each, and the Blu-ray versions a 2-disc sets costing $34.95 SRP each. Here is the cover art for each:
