After three successful seasons, Starz's pirate drama 'Black Sails' will reach its end with the show's fourth season next year. Set as a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson's 'Treasure Island', 'Black Sails' portrays the lives of Captain Flint, Long John Silver, and their crew, roughly 20 years prior to where the book starts.

Black Sails - The Complete 4th Season is coming to DVD ($44.98 SRP) and high-def Blu-ray Disc ($49.99 SRP) this
August 29th. Now Amazon has updated their listings for this title (in both formats) with the above-quoted "back of the box" description, and the package art shown below. Just above the pictures of the packaging is an Amazon pre-order button link for both the DVD and the Blu versions of this item; the big e-tailer is now accepting pre-orders on both formats. We're still waiting on the studio's officiate announcement and/or press release for these 3-disc sets; stay tuned and we'll bring that to you just as soon as they provide it!
