Freeform, Disney’s young adult television and streaming network, will premiere the highly anticipated new drama “The Bold Type” and season five premiere of fan-favorite original series “The Fosters.” The network will also make all seasons of “Chasing Life” available for viewers to watch for free via the Freeform app – no subscription required.
Additional programming arriving to Freeform this month includes the premiere of the highly-anticipated “Descendants 2” starring Dove Cameron; Hilary Swank-starrer “Freedom Writers”; LGBT drama “Pride” starring Bill Nighy; animated comedy “Strange Magic” starring Evan Rachel Wood and Kristin Chenoweth, and many more. Freeform is also adding episodes of hit sitcoms “Gilmore Girls,” “The Mindy Project,” “Last Man Standing” and “Reba.”

July 10 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 2015 – “A Problem of Memory”
Simon looks for a distraction with an evening out with some of his new vampire friends. What started out as a night to let loose quickly turns much darker when Simon wakes up the next morning with no memory of the night before and a dead body he now has to answer for. Meanwhile, Alec orders Valentine to be transferred to Idris to help repair relations with the Downworlders.
July 17 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 2016 – “Day of Atonement”
With everything that Simon has gone through this past year, a family dinner for Yom Kippur – the Jewish Day of Atonement – poses as a real challenge. How can he come clean about being a vampire and especially about what just happened to his family? And if he is stressed out, what if he can’t control his vampire urges? Looking to take care of this himself, Maia insists on helping him out whether he likes it or not. Meanwhile, Clary and Jace go on an unsanctioned mission and test out their newfound rune powers.
July 24 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 2017 – “A Dark Reflection”
With two of the three Mortal Instruments missing, everyone is on the hunt for the last one – The Mortal Mirror. Jace and Clary are on the hunt to recover it first before it could fall into enemy hands. But along the way, Clary realizes that her brother Jonathan may be closer than she thought. Meanwhile, Isabelle has a hard time accepting the fact that her little brother Max is growing up, and Maia struggles to bring her guard down with Simon.
July 31 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 2018 – “Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen”
After a devastating attack at The Institute, everyone is on high alert as the Shadowhunters close in on their hunt for Jonathan. Meanwhile, Simon and Maia help a new downworlder as the Seelie Queen demands an answer from Magnus and Luke.
“Stitchers” Season 3 – Mondays through August 14, 2017
July 10 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 3005 – “Paternis”
Cameron’s estranged father, currently serving time in prison for white-collar crimes, is accused of murdering a prison guard. Going against protocol, Kirsten stitches into the guard’s memory for clues and learns that Cameron’s father has been blackmailed for years by the lead investigator on his original case.
July 17 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 3006 – “The Gremlin and the Fixer”
After an engineer ends up dead, his colleague and work rival becomes a suspect. However, upon examining some stitches, Kirsten and the team uncover that he was a part of an underground gaming club. The team must juggle saving a falling satellite while Cameron takes a walk on the wild side when he infiltrates the gaming ring to get close to another suspect.
July 24 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 3007 – “Just the Two of Us”
When Kirsten wakes up to find that everyone in the stitch lab, except Cameron, is missing, the two search everywhere but only find a series of mysterious clues. Eventually Kirsten realizes that she’s still stitched into an autistic man with unique empathetic abilities. Kirsten is forced to confront her own emotions about her relationship with Cameron and unlock a memory in the victim’s mind to bounce back to reality.
July 31 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 3008 – “Dreamland”
The Stitchers team investigates the murder of an ex-Air Force officer who is found murdered by what seems like a UFO, and the trail leads to a former co-worker and renowned UFO expert. The memories in the stitch have the team wondering if UFOs and extraterrestrial beings really exist.
“The Fosters” Season 5A – Tuesdays through September 5, 2017
July 11 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 5001 – “Resist”
In the season premiere of “The Fosters,” Stef frantically searches for Callie after she offers to help Diamond, thinking she has nothing to lose after accepting the plea deal. Struggling with his TBI, Jesus unleashes his anger after discovering Brandon helped Emma with a deeply personal decision. With Mariana leading the charge, protests continue over Anchor Beach Charter’s privatization.
July 18 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 5002 – “Exterminate Her”
Callie gets control of her life and starts auditing art classes at a local college. Jesus distances himself from Mariana and Brandon so he can build his treehouse with Gabe alone. Jude and Mariana get involved with the school’s newspaper to spread the word about the impending privatization. The Fosters get a new neighbor that has history with Stef.
July 25 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 5003 – “Contact”
Callie and Aaron go on their first official date. Mariana and Jude spearhead an underground school newspaper. Noah and Jude question their compatibility, while Brandon and Grace take their relationship to the next level. The moms have their new neighbors over for a family dinner party. Jesus struggles to connect with Emma after she learns about his aggressive outburst at Brandon.

July 11 (9:00 – 10:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1001 – “Pilot”
Under the watchful eye of editor in chief Jacqueline, the Scarlet Magazine girls blaze their own paths forward in life. Newly promoted writer Jane is unsettled when her first big assignment is not what she thought it would be. Kat tries to convince photographer Adena to let Scarlet tell her story, and is surprised by her connection with the intriguing woman. Meanwhile, Sutton tries not to feel left behind by her best friends as she still toils in the assistant ranks. But she shocks them when they uncover a major secret Sutton has been keeping – her scandalous affair with lusted-after Scarlet magazine lawyer Richard.
July 11 (10:01 – 11:00 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1002 – “Oh Hell No”
Kat finds herself questioning her identity as she continues to spend time with Adena. Jane is horrified when she is tasked with writing Scarlet’s sex column – especially when her story turns intensely personal. And Sutton is given an opportunity to advance at Scarlet, but questions if it’s what she really wants to be doing with her life.
July 18 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1003 – “The Woman Behind the Clothes”
Kat finds herself the victim of internet trolling when she stands up for gender inequality. Sutton thinks she may have found her dream job but worries she doesn’t have what it takes to make it work. And Jane pursues a story about a congresswoman but tries to find a different angle to make her voice heard.
July 25 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1004 – “If You Can’t Do It With Feeling”
Sutton is flustered when someone at Scarlet has the wrong impression of her professional background. Jane is determined to prove she can have a friends with benefits relationship without feelings getting in the way. And Kat and Adena continue growing closer.
