“TRUTH IS A FOUR-LETTER WORD”: “YOUNGER” SEASON FOUR TRAILER DEBUTS

“TRUTH IS A FOUR-LETTER WORD”: “YOUNGER” SEASON FOUR TRAILER DEBUTS

Kristin Chenoweth, Charles Michael Davis, Aasif Mandvi, Jennifer Westfeldt and More to Guest Star

New York, NY – June 1, 2017 – TV Land's captivating dramedy "Younger" is back this summer, and this season's trailer makes one thing clear: the truth hurts. Last season, Liza (Sutton Foster) finally admitted her bombshell secret to Kelsey (Hilary Duff) – that she's not 26 and she's been lying all along – and viewers will get to see how it all unfolds on the Wednesday, June 28th premiere at 10pm. But Liza's relationship with Kelsey is not the only thing left in shambles. Her boyfriend Josh (Nico Tortorella) was left broken when he stumbled upon Liza and her boss, Charles (Peter Hermann), kissing right before he was about to propose. With her professional and personal lives on the line, Liza might only be left with the truth.

Season four of the Darren Star-created series will also see some amazing guest stars, including Emmy® and Tony® winner Kristin Chenoweth ("Wicked," "Hairspray Live") as Marylynne Keller, a DC "spin doctor" trying to sell a book to Empirical; heartthrob Charles Michael Davis ("The Originals") as Zane Anders, a competitor (and maybe more) to Kelsey; Aasif Mandvi ("The Daily Show") as Jay Mallick, a 40-something publisher that approaches Liza to run her own imprint; Jennifer Westfeldt ("Friends with Kids") as Pauline, a new author that Liza meets and in whom she sees herself; Meredith Hagner ("Search Party"), who plays Montana, a young artist and fan of Maggie's (Debi Mazar) work; and Phoebe Dynevor ("Snatch"), playing Clare, an Irish bartender that befriends Liza and the group. "Younger" will also see the return of some fan favorites this summer, including Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty") as literary agent Redmond; Mather Zickel ("Masters of Sex") as Diana's (Miriam Shor) live-in boyfriend Richard; Tessa Albertson ("The Good Wife") as Liza's daughter Caitlin; and Ben Rappaport ("Mr. Robot") as Max, Lauren's (Molly Bernard) doctor boyfriend.

"Younger," which has already been renewed for a fifth season, films at the legendary SilverCup Studios in New York and is created, executive produced and written by Darren Star, with Tony Hernandez of JAX Media executive producing for TV Land. Dottie Zicklin and Eric Zicklin also serve as executive producers and writers on the series.
