TV ONE'S TRUE CRIME MONDAYS RETURNS IN JUNE
WITH NEW EPISODES OF FATAL ATTRACTION AND
THE PREMIERE OF #MURDER ON MONDAY, JUNE 5, 2017
SILVER SPRING, MD. - June 1, 2017 - TV One's True Crime Monday programming block returns on June 5 with all-new episodes of the network's hit crime and justice show, Fatal Attraction at 9 p.m. ET, followed by the series premiere of #Murder at
Fatal Attraction delves into real-life stories of criminal acts committed under the guise of love and the tragic consequences that turn deadly. Recounting stories of love-gone-wrong, each episode consists of first-person interviews from loved ones, accounts from investigating officials, interrogation footage, recreations of pivotal moments and haunting cinematography. Last season, the show reached its milestone 100th episode and continues to be a fan favorite.
The series reached 2.9M unique viewers (P2+) in the first half of Season 6, helping to make TV One a top five network among Ad Supported Cable in the Monday night 9-11 p.m. True Crime time slot among AA P25-54, AA W25-54 and AA W18-49.
Crime goes viral in #Murder, a brand new, cutting-edge investigative series that examines crime with a deadly connection to technology and social media. Whether the killer met the victim online, posted incriminating details on his Facebook page, or the cops used social media to hunt down the perpetrator, each episode of #Murder examines how homicide - like everything else in this day and age - has gone digital.

Premiere: Monday, June 5 at 9 p.m. ET

The premiere episode of #Murder tells the story of 14-year-old Shaniesha Forbes, a typical American teenager from Brooklyn, N.Y. If she wasn't hanging out with family or friends, she was busy scrolling through Facebook, planning her next event on her busy social calendar. But when Forbes failed to come home from school or answer her phone in January of 2013, her mother knew something was terribly wrong. To find out what happened, detectives would have to dig into her online profile to see who would want to hurt this beautiful teen. Along the way, their search for the truth will reveal every parent's worst nightmare, and show a far more sinister side of social media.

Fatal Attraction (Episode 615): Roadside Homicide: Angela Alex
Premiere: Monday, June 12 at 9 p.m. ET
For stay-at-home mother Angela Alex, nothing in life was more important than her family. After learning that she and her longtime partner were expecting another child together, Alex couldn't hide her excitement. But when her battered body is discovered in the middle of the night on a secluded road only a few months later, family and friends are left shocked and desperate for answers. But on an ominous New Year's Eve, the couple's fate was decided by two gunshots and a mystery shooter. With both teens in the hospital with gunshot wounds, police work to uncover the motive behind the attack. After scouring Sanders' social media presence for clues that could help solve the mystery, detectives pieced together a shocking tale of rage, jealousy, and the power of social media to spark the murder of an innocent teen.

Fatal Attraction (Episode 616): Behind Closed Doors: Megan Neely
Premiere: Monday, June 19 at 9 p.m. ET
Newly in love, 27-year-old St. Paul resident, Megan Neely appeared to have put her checkered past behind her, but when she disappears without a trace, however, it's impossible not to wonder whether old ghosts are coming back to haunt her. With numerous unsavory characters lurking in the shadows of Neely's life, the answer will not be easy to uncover and as detectives are about to learn when the past come knocking, sometimes it's hard to say no.

Naressa Turner was a talented single mom from St. Paul with big dreams and an even bigger social media presence. In addition to being a mom, she started a dance team at a local rec center-but her community knew her best for her aspirations to become a famous rapper. Turner was very active on Facebook, and was constantly updating her status, posting photos of her daughter, and sharing videos of her raps on her profile. But when she is found fatally shot in the passenger seat of an SUV, investigators must sort through a tangled web of clues on her social media account to solve her murder case.
MONDAY, JUNE 26
Fatal Attraction (Episode 617): Burning Confession: Cherie Adams and Curtia Duncan
Premiere: Monday, June 26 at 9 p.m. ET
When firefighters in Chicago respond to reports of an apartment fire, they are startled to find the bodies of mother Cherie Adams and her daughter Curtria Duncan amongst the debris. As news spreads of the horrific double homicide, the community is left in shock- why would anyone want to hurt this quiet, friendly pair? 16-year-old Ivan Redding was a talented tattoo artist and ladies man, who moved to West Palm Beach, Fla. But Ivan made enemies fast when he posted on Facebook that he would always rep his hometown of Riviera. Many local kids fought with Ivan online and in real life, and the violence continued to escalate until October 18, 2014, when Ivan was fatally shot in the back of his sister's car - but by whom? Rumors were swirling that someone threatened to kill Redding on Facebook, but police are stumped when they discover the post had been deleted. Detectives turn to cyberspace to unlock the mystery behind a murder sparked by social media, and fueled by jealousy and wounded pride.
