CULVER CITY, Calif. (July 27, 2017) – Crackle, Sony Pictures Television Networks’ free, ad supported streaming network, features several new titles in August, headlined by the premiere of the network’s original movie Party Boat—an all-new comedy starring Brett Davern as Max, a fun-loving, yet irresponsible party animal, dedicated to bringing the fun by whatever means necessary. Max is on a mission to throw his wildest party to date – a birthday party for his best friend, Kiley (Katie Leclerc). Unbeknownst to Kiley, Max has had a crush on her since middle school. When Max finds out that Kiley’s boyfriend (Sung Kang) plans to propose, he embarks on an adventure to win her heart and throw his most epic rager yet. Also, starring in the film is funnyman Jay Mohr (“SNL”, Jerry Maguire), as Lake Patrol Officer Walsh, who is out for revenge in order to restore his good name. Additional cast members include: Beau Mirchoff (“Awkward”), who can be seen this fall in the reboot of Sony Pictures’ Flatliners; Demetrius Bridges (“The Vampire Diaries”), Internet sensation Jc Caylen (Boo! A Madea Halloween, “T@gged”) and Emily Kuroda (“Gilmore Girls”, “Sequestered”).
Other new movie additions to the schedule includes Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in the fan-favorite racecar farce Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby; Michael Manns’ Miami Vice with Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx; Kathryn Bigelow’s Point Break starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze; and the fantasy action film, Sean of the Dean to name a few.
