Death Valley Days - Date For 'The Complete 14th Season: The Ronald Reagan Years, Collector's Edition' Reagan's final work as a professional actor comes to DVD in early January

Last month we reported that Death Valley Days - The Complete 13th Season: The Ronald Reagan Years, Collector's Edition was coming to DVD this year: an early Walmart-only release on July 3rd, which has already occurred, and then a "wide" general retail release coming up on October 3rd. Now, according to VideoETA (a site produced by distributor Ingram Entertainment), Shout! Factory is following up with plans for the next season after that one! They say to expect Death Valley Days - The Complete 14th Season: The Ronald Reagan Years, Collector's Edition on January 2nd of the new year. It will be a 4-DVD set priced at $24.97 SRP. Package art and other details aren't available yet. This was Reagan's second and final season as host of the show. Actress Rosemary DeCamp hosted on a temporary basis, until Robert Taylor took over hosting duties. Reagan departed as host of this series (he also acted in episodes as well) to enter politics and run for Governor of California. Having won that election, Death Valley Days became Ronald Reagan's final work as a professional actor. This title might also get an early release at Walmart, but if so there aren't any indications of as of this writing. Package art isn't available yet, either, but is expected to be a variation of the thirteenth season set's artwork. Stay tuned for updates, as further info becomes available!
