An African-American teen in Brooklyn during the early 1980s attends a mostly white school in a sitcom narrated by and inspired by the childhood experiences of comedian Chris Rock. Bolstered by a soundtrack that beautifully evokes the '80s, the show chronicles the life of the young Chris, whose family's penny-pinching is leavened by love (and laughs).

Series co-created, produced and narrated by Chris Rock. All 88 episodes on 16 discs. Nominated for Golden Globe, Emmy, and several Image Awards. "With elements of "Wonder Years," "Cosby" and the "The Jeffersons," but also a spirit all its own, "Chris" is a sitcom that finally makes the family funny again." - Tim Goodman, San Francisco Chronicle. "Everybody Hates Chris is the sitcom for which the networks have been yearning for the better part of a decade." - Glenn Garvin, Miami Herald.
The four seasons were released separately on DVD between 2006 and 2009. Now the studio is finally bringing them all together for the first time! On October 10th, Paramount will release Everybody Hates Chris - The Complete Series on DVD! We don't have details or pricing at present, but here's a first look at the cover art for this 16-disc set (may not be finalized yet, and could be subject to change):
