NEW FREEFORM ORIGINALS INCLUDE THE SEASON FINALES OF ‘SHADOWHUNTERS’ AND ‘STITCHERS,’ PLUS NEW EPISODES OF ‘THE BOLD TYPE’ AND ‘THE FOSTERS’
Additional programming arriving to Freeform this month includes the network television premiere of the 2015 comedy “The Duff” starring Bella Thorne and Mae Whitman; Hugh Jackman-starrer “X-Men”; “The Break-Up” starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn, and much more. Freeform is also adding episodes of hit sitcoms “Gilmore Girls,” “The Mindy Project,” “Last Man Standing” and “Reba.”

“Shadowhunters” Season 2B – Mondays through August 14, 2017
August 7 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 2019 – “Hail and Farewell”
After centuries of being lied to and treated poorly by The Clave, the Downworlders decide to come together and take matters into their own hands as the hunt for Valentine and Sebastian intensifies. But what starts off as a way to preserve their own, the Downworlders choice to break with the Shadowhunters, could quickly escalate to war.
August 14 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 2020 – Summer Finale – “Beside Still Water”
Jace and Clary rush to make a final stand, but when a traitor is revealed, Jace and Clary may have a bigger fight on their hands than expected. Meanwhile, Alec and Izzy must fight off a large mass of demons that have unexpectedly shown up, as Luke and Simon head to the Seelie Court to deal with some unfinished business with the Seelie Queen.
“Stitchers” Season 3 – Mondays through August 14, 2017
August 7 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 3009 – “Kill It Forward”
A series of murders, including a professional volleyball player, lead the Stitchers team searching the darkest corners of the Internet. Meanwhile, Kirsten gives Maggie an ultimatum. (Guest starring Elaine Hendrix; directed by Salli Richardson-Whitfield)
August 14 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 3010 – Summer Finale – “Maternis”
In the summer finale, all your burning questions will be answered when Kirsten’s father Daniel Stinger (guest star C. Thomas Howell) shows up and Kirsten must perform the most important stitch of her life.
“The Fosters” Season 5A – Tuesdays through September 5, 2017
August 1 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 5004 – “Too Fast, Too Furious”
Callie and Aaron discuss taking their relationship to the next level. Mariana finds fulfillment training with the Latina derby team. Brandon’s new girlfriend Grace catches him playing hero to his ex-girlfriend Courtney.
August 8 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 5005 – “Telling”
The Fosters kids attend a party at the Derby warehouse, but things escalate quickly when the cops show up. Lena struggles when Stef starts to become obsessed with an ongoing case at work, meanwhile Brandon’s relationship with Grace is put into jeopardy with Courtney back in his life.
August 15 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 5006 – “Welcome to the Jungler”
Callie is torn with turning over a new leaf or supporting a cause that means a lot to her, while Jude and Taylor begin making gaming videos that earn them unwanted notoriety. Stef makes major headway in her case.
August 22 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 5007 – “Chasing Waterfalls”
Lena’s parents are back in town for a visit, while Callie and Aaron get closer than ever before. Mariana tries to get closer to Logan, but it backfires when his girlfriend catches wind of it.
August 29 (8:00 – 9:01 p.m. EDT) – Episode 5008 – “Engaged”
Brandon throws a party which turns south when secrets are revealed. Mariana and Jude try to convince the students to vote against their school going private.
“The Bold Type” Season 1 – Tuesdays through September 5, 2017
August 1 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1005 – “No Feminism in the Champagne Room”
Jane is stunned when the subject of her latest article, a woman who left a finance job to become an exotic dancer, threatens to sue Scarlet – and Jane. Sutton is excited when she thinks she’s making a step forward in her career. Kat questions whether she is ready for a real relationship with anyone, especially in light of recent events with Adena.
August 8 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1006 – “The Breast Issue”
In promoting Scarlet’s breast health awareness campaign, Kat tries to be bold with her message, but is left wondering whether her competitive nature is hurting her cause. Jane confronts past issues and current anxieties when she is tasked with writing a controversial piece about BRCA gene testing. Sutton is determined to excel at her tasks at hand, but when things fall apart, it’s Alex who rushes to her rescue.
August 15 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1007 – “Three Girls In A Tub”
Richard is determined to get to know Sutton’s friends outside of the office and invites the girls to dinner, but things don’t quite go as planned. Sutton attempts to network with a new social circle by attending a high tea. While on a date with someone else, Jane comes to a realization about Pinstripe; and Jacqueline is forced to intervene when Kat’s new staffer keeps damaging Scarlet’s social media presence.
August 22 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1008 – “The End of the Beginning”
As rumors of layoffs at Scarlet sweep through the office leaving everyone unsettled, Jane learns of a potential opportunity at a rival publication. Sutton is given a big opportunity when a coworker buckles under pressure. Kat is tasked with organizing a “Readers Night” for Scarlet, but is distracted by thoughts of Adena – leading to a big decision. And Jane talks Sutton and Kat into joining her on a dating app.
August 29 (9:01 – 10:02 p.m. EDT) – Episode 1009 – “Before Tequila Sunrise”
Jane, Sutton, Alex, Pinstripe and Jacqueline are all trapped in the Scarlet offices due to a massive traffic jam. Forced to spend time together, Jane reexamines her feelings for Pinstripe. Sutton makes a surprising move. And when she learns Adena is leaving New York, Kat makes an impulsive decision.
