Game of Thrones - 'The Complete 7th Season' Already Planned for DVD and Blu-ray Disc Maybe coming out in mid-December? Maybe it's too early for a finalized date, though?

Two Sundays ago, HBO kicked off the new season of their most popular series, and the next-to-last season that will be produced. Now Amazon has ALREADY begun taking pre-orders for releases of Game of Thrones - The Complete 7th Season on both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. These listings are prior to the official HBO Home Video announcement for the item, though, so instead of a street date Amazon merely says "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." On the other hand, there's an alternate Amazon.com listing for the DVD version, and this one shows December 12th as the date for HBO's release. We're not sure if that's accurate, however. It may turn out to be...but our guess is that the date will be pulled down from that entry just as soon as our news post here brings it to HBO's (or distributor Warner Home Video's) attention. Just a guess, though. It seems far too early for a date to be finalized yet. Pricing is available, though, currently showing $59.99 SRP for the DVD (either listing) and $79.99 SRP for the Blu-ray version (you can, of course, guarantee your copy right away, if you order it using any of the above links). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entry, nor package art (just a generic temp image taken from the show's promotional campaign). We'll update you further on this title, of course, just as soon as we find out anything more!
