Teen Wolf - Shout! Pulls 'The Complete Animated Series' From the Schedule Indefinitely postponed due to an unresolved legal issue, it seems

A month ago we brought you the Shout! Factory announcement that on September 5th they would release Teen Wolf - The Complete Animated Series on DVD...the 1986 cartoon spin-off from the theatrical film starring Michael J. Fox. Unfortunately, though, the pre-order listings for the title have been removed both from Amazon.com and from the studio's own Shout! online store. Why? In a tweet posted on Twitter this last June 29th, Shout! Factory replied to a reader inquiry, explaining that, "It's TBD [To Be Decided] at this time. There was an issue with the rights that we hope to sort out." Not cancelled, per se...at least not yet. It could be, if the rights issue doesn't get resolved. But right now it's simply postponed, with no new release date. Our thanks to regular reader Jackson Burnett for letting us know about the tweet. Stay tuned for updates, as further developments occur!
