In The Middle's hit eighth season, the Heck kids continue to smash through their comfort zones and navigate new situations - which may or may not be comforting to parents Frankie (Patricia Heaton) and Mike (Neil Flynn). Axl (Charlie McDermott) may be living out of a Winnebago, but he has discovered the love of his life. Meanwhile, always-optimistic Sue (Eden Sher) has caught the acting bug in Dollywood and is changing her major to drama. Now in high school, Brick (Atticus Shaffer) has made it his mission to fit in with his peers - and not be one of the weird kids. With an emptier nest, Frankie and Mike cut back on the parental duties - which is easier said than done, as parenting continues no matter where your kids are. Balancing kids and work never really gets easier. It just gets different! We told you a couple of weeks ago that in mid-August, Canada was going to get in-store releases of both the 7th and 8th seasons of The Middle. A week ago we updated you that the Canadian releases were pushed back to early October. In the meantime, the seventh season of the sitcom has been out in the States as an MOD title since last November, and fans who live south-of-the-border were wondering about the eighth season discs. Now the Warner Archive Collection has scheduled August 15th as the U.S.A. release date for The Middle - The Complete 8th Season on DVD! Priced at $34.99 SRP, this is a manufacture-on-demand title that is available via online sellers such as Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program.
