‘What Happened to ‘Jackie’?’ Airs on ‘20/20,’ Friday, September 1, on ABC
Former UVA Associate Dean of Students Eramo, who was at the center of the national scandal, sat down with “Good Morning America” News Anchor Amy Robach, telling her side of the story on the eve of her defamation civil trial. Since speaking with Robach, there was a surprising outcome in the high-profile case. “20/20” also features first-person accounts from key people connected to “Jackie”’s story, which allegedly involves a catfishing scam to win the affection of fellow classmate Ryan Duffin.
In addition, Robach speaks with Duffin; Alex Stock, “Jackie”’s former college friend; T. Rees Shapiro, Washington Post reporter, who investigated “Jackie”’s claims; Liz Seccuro, rape survivor and author of “Crash Into Me: A Survivor’s Search for Justice,” and more.
