Outlander - Fans Still Wanting a 'Full Season 1' on DVD Format? It's Coming! Not announced by Sony so far, but Amazon.com has a pre-order listing

In March 2015, Sony released "Season 1, Volume 1" of Outlander on DVD and Blu-ray, and then in September 2015 Sony followed up with "Season 1, Volume 2" of the show in both formats. For the entire season all together, Sony put out in November 2015 a high-end "Season 1: The Ultimate Collection" Blu-ray package. A year afterward, Sony released "Season 2" as a full season, never splitting it up on home video like they had the first season. To this day, fans still wish that the full Season 1 was available on DVD format. We're still waiting on an official announcement from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, but currently there's an Amazon.com pre-order listing showing that on January 16th the studio will put out Outlander - Full Season 1 on standard DVD format! The price shown there is $35.99 SRP, for a 4-disc set. On-disc contents are expected to be the same as on the DVD sets of Season 1, Volume 1 and Season 1, Volume 2, just repackaged into one set this time. Package art isn't available yet, so stay tuned. There is also no word yet on Outlander - Season 3 for home video yet (hey, it just debuted!), but stay tuned and we'll bring you updates, as further developments occur.
