A Chef's Life - PBS is Frying Up a 'Season 5' DVD Release Late This Year 2-disc set is being served up in stores by mid-December

Vivian hits the road in a food truck to support her first cookbook, a 500-page culinary love letter. While on the road, she discovers Jefferson's small batch whiskey in the heart of Bourbon County, fishes for trout at a farm in the North Carolina mountains, and prepares peppers at a clandestine gathering for chefs in the Virginia hills. On December 12th, PBS will release A Chef's Life - Season 5 on DVD. This 2-disc set is priced at $29.99 SRP, focusing on Chef Vivian Howard (co-owner and head chef of the North Carolina restaurant Chef & the Farmer). The 10-episode fifth season is already airing on PBS stations, and this DVD release is likely to be available before the season finale is broadcast (which is not unusual for several PBS shows).
