South Park - Short Delay for Blu-ray Releases of 'Season 1' through 'Season 5' First five seasons on BD are pushed back two weeks

Two months ago we brought you the Comedy Central/Paramount press release announcing that South Park would get Blu-ray Disc versions of the first five seasons, sold separately, on November 21st, and then the sixth through eleventh seasons on December 19th. As far as we know, the second date remains unchanged. But today the studio informed us that the first five seasons on Blu-ray would be delayed a short bit. They will now be in stores on December 5th instead. No reason for the change was given, but online sellers such as Amazon have already updated their listings to reflect the new date. Adjust your plans accordingly!
