STUDIO CITY, CA –November 13, 2017– Bridget Regan (“The Last Ship,” “Jane the Virgin”) and Travis Van Winkle (“The Last Ship,” Hart of Dixie”) star in “Christmas Getaway,” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, December 23, (8 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Channel.  The movie is part of the network’s popular, annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming event.  When newly-single travel writer Emory Blake (Regan) arrives in snowy Pine Grove to spend a quiet holiday alone, a reservation mix-up forces her to share the last available cabin with handsome widower Scott Hays (Van Winkle) and his adorable daughter, Katy (Raven Stewart, “Journey Back to Christmas,” “Fargo”).  While “observing” Scott and Katy fulfilling the girl’s list of must-do holiday activities for a story she is writing, Emory becomes more and more involved in the Hays’ Christmas – and vice-versa – as a completely unexpected romance blossoms between Scott and Emory.  “Christmas Getaway” is a Crown Media Productions, LLC, production.
