MacGyver - DVD Date, Price, Packaging for 'Season 1' of the 2016 Reboot Lionsgate is bringing the new show to stores at the end of February

"MacGyver," a reimagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus "Mac" MacGyver, who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government and uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem-solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives. CBS's successful new reboot of the iconic classic stars Lucas Till, George Eads, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, and Sandrine Holt. Pilot directed by James Wan (FURIOUS 7, AQUAMAN). The second season premiered on September 29...with higher ratings than the Season 1 finale in April! "MacGyver is still good, clean fun." - The Guardian. Last year CBS rebooted the classic 1985 series that had starred Richard Dean Anderson. The new series stars Lucas Till, who's best known for his role as "Alex Summers/Havok" in three recent X-Men films (First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse). This morning Lionsgate Entertainment informed retailers that the new series is coming to DVD on February 27th with a 5-disc set of MacGyver - Season 1. It's priced at just $29.98 SRP, we're informed, and we've got a look at the packaging for you below. Extras, if any, haven't been revealed, and at this time there's no word of a Blu-ray version.
