BURBANK, CA (November 30, 2017) - The final season of TNT's gripping crime drama Major Crimes is set for release on DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE). Available March 13, 2018, just two months after the series finale, Major Crimes: The Sixth and Final Season will feature all 13 episodes from the fan-favorite police drama's sixth season, plus a hilarious gag reel and never-before-seen deleted scenes. The show that began as a sequel to the award-winning police procedural The Closer and quickly became a hit series in its own right, is now drawing to an end after a successful, six-year run. Fans of Major Crimes won't want to miss learning the fate of their favorite squad of detectives as they continue to investigate L.A.'s most complex crimes in the show's final season. Major Crimes: The Sixth and Final Season is comprised of a three-disc DVD set and will retail for $24.98 SRP.

In Season Six, Major Crimes takes a serialized turn as the squad struggles to solve mysteries and murder surrounded by complex political conflicts, attempting to sidestep controversial issues as they track down three lethal murderers. As Cmdr. Sharon Raydor grows accustomed to her new boss, Assistant Chief Leo Mason, the detectives find themselves questioning their faith in the rapidly changing priorities of the justice system and their ability to reason through difficult changes. The emotionally gripping season will treat fans to an array of milestones, from celebrations of love to periods of loss. Finally, they must accept the necessity of risk in all its different guises, as they prepare to face the increasingly undeniable return of Phillip Stroh.

The sixth gripping season of Major Crimes finds the elite team of investigators hard at work, as they continue to solve the division's highest profile cases. The division is led by Cmdr. Sharon Raydor (Oscar nominee Mary McDonnell, Dances with Wolves, Battlestar Galactica). The unit is comprised of Lieutenant Provenza (G.W. Bailey, The Closer, M*A*S*H, Police Academy), Lieutenant Andy Flynn (Tony Denison, The Closer, Crime Story), Lieutenant Mike Tao (Michael Paul Chan, The Closer, Arrested Development), Detective Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz, The Closer, Training Day), tech expert and reserve police officer Buzz Watson (Phillip P. Keene, The Closer, The D.A.), Detective Amy Sykes (Kearran Giovanni, One Life to Live), medical examiner Dr. Morales (Jonathan Del Arco, The Closer, Nip/Tuck), Assistant Chief Leo Mason (Leonard Roberts, American Sniper, Drumline), Detective Camila Paige (Jessica Meraz, Chasing Life) and Det. Wes Nolan (Daniel Di Tomasso, Witches of East End, Timeless, Good Girls Revolt). Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin, Two and a Half Men, The Bill Engvall Show) is Sharon Raydor's adopted son. In addition, Jon Tenney returns as Fritz Howard, Kathe Mazur appears as Deputy District Attorney Andrea Hobbs, Ransford Doherty continues in the role of C.I. Kendall, René Rosado plays Gustavo Wallace and Billy Burke returns in four episodes as serial killer, Phillip Stroh.

"Major Crimes has been a superb show since the beginning. The series cultivated a loyal fan following from the start and has kept viewers engaged," said Rosemary Markson, WBHE Senior Vice President, TV Marketing. She added, "We are proud to offer the final season of this remarkable series to consumers." One of basic cable's top programs, to-date Major Crimes has delivered over 5.7 million total viewers per episode. Currently, Major Crimes is not available to stream via any SVOD service.

Fans can now own all six seasons of Major Crimes in one complete set. Major Crimes: The Complete Series will also be available on March 13th on DVD. The box set will retail for $112.99 SRP. This set represents a substantial savings over purchasing all six seasons individually. The sixth season of Major Crimes is produced by The Shephard/Robin Company and Walking Entropy, Inc. in association with Warner Bros. Television.
