ALL-NEW SERIES ‘TWIN TURBOS’ RACES TO DISCOVERY CHANNEL ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH
NASCAR Driver Joey Logano serves as mentor to help get custom car builder Brad DeBerti back
in the driver’s seat
(Los Angeles) – For father-son duo Doug and Brad DeBerti, custom car building isn’t just
a hobby, it’s their life. From creating a truck modeled after a fighter jet to developing the first ever drift racing truck, the DeBerti’s have been building one-of-a-kind cars and trucks for more than two decades, winning over twenty awards, and turning the
family business into a household name. Together, they push the boundaries on each custom build to create outrageous, state-of-the-art vehicles in the brand-new series
TWIN TURBOS, premiering Wednesday, February 28 at 10pm ET/PT on Discovery.
NASCAR driver Joey Logano will appear in the series as a mentor to Brad DeBerti who hopes to one day race the oval tracks.
For the past 25 years, Doug has been a notable figure in the world of custom builds, but Brad is known for something different – he is
a racing prodigy. In 2014, the DeBerti’s used their successes in the garage to help fund and launch Brad’s racing career and he took the motorsports world by storm – winning the 2015 Pro-Light Rookie of the Year, followed by the 2016 Lucas Oil Off Road - Pro-Light
championship. With his dad as his spotter and coach, Brad chased his NASCAR dreams until a horrific accident flipped his truck seven times, landing Brad in the hospital with serious injuries.
Now,
two years after the crash that almost cost him his life, Brad is ready to get back in the hot seat, with his
sights set once again on NASCAR. And this time along with the support of his family, he’s being mentored by NASCAR Driver, Joey Logano. Throughout the season, Joey will take Brad under his wing and guide him on his quest to become
a NASCAR driver. But to fund that dream, the DeBerti’s will need to continue to innovate and create the most amazing custom cars and trucks on the market.
