NBC Sports presents coverage of the final U.S. Olympic qualifier for the freestyle skiing aerials event from Lake Placid, N.Y. beginning this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on NBC.
Eric Loughran and World Cup rookie Nicholas Novak led the American men, while 16-year-old Karyl Loeb, in her first World Cup, was the top American woman.
Trace Worthington calls the action alongside analyst Jonny Moseley, 1998 U.S. Olympic freestyle skiing gold medalist, and reporter Kelli Stavast.

FIS ALPINE SKIING WORLD CUP
COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY AT 9:30 A.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA
This weekend’s coverage of the FIS alpine skiing World Cup season continues with three women’s events from Lenzerheide, Switzerland, beginning with the super combined this Friday at 9:30 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. NBCSN will present live coverage of the giant slalom on Saturday at 7 a.m. ET and the slalom on Sunday at 6 a.m. ET, as 2014 Olympic slalom gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin, a multi-medal threat for PyeongChang, is expected to compete in all three events.

Coverage of the men’s alpine skiing season continues this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, with the final major men’s races before the Olympics begin. Bryce Bennettand 2014 Sochi Olympian Jared Goldberg, who have both qualified for the 2018 Olympic team, should headline the American men in downhill, while two-time Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety is expected to compete in Sunday’s live coverage of the giant slalom at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

FOUR CONTINENTS FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS
COVERAGE CONTINUES TODAY AT NOON ET ON NBCSN

NBC Sports Group presents coverage of the 2018 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships from Taipei City, Chinese Taipei. Coverage, which includes every event, continues today at Noon ET, with an encore presentation of the short dance on NBCSN, and continues throughout the week. Coverage culminates Sunday at 9 a.m. ET with a recap show on NBCSN.

The men’s field is highlighted by 2017 world silver medalist Shoma Uno of Japan, two-time world bronze medalist Jin Boyang of China and 2015 U.S. champion Jason Brown.
In the ladies’ competition, 2016 Four Continents champion Satoko Miyahara, who recently won the Japanese national title and was named to the 2018 Olympic team, is expected to headline the field. Representing Team USA are 2017 U.S. bronze medalist Mariah Bell and 16-year-old Starr Andrews, who will be competing in her first major senior competition.
Canadians Lyubov Ilyushechkina and Dylan Moscovitch, who were sixth at the World Championships last season, and North Koreans Ryom Tae-Ok and Kim Ju-Sik, who have qualified for the Olympics, are expected to compete in the pairs’ event. Americans Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker are expected to contend in ice dance. Chris Vosters calls the action alongside analysts Ben Agosto, 2006 U.S. Olympic ice dance silver medalist, and Charlie White, 2014 U.S. Olympic ice dance gold medalist.

The World Cup ski jumping season continues this weekend as Ljubno, Slovenia, hosts the women’s ski jumping event, while the men’s circuit travels to Zakopane, Poland.
The American women are expected to be led by 2013 world champion Sarah Hendrickson, who made her second Olympic team at Trials in December, and Nita Englund, who is attempting to earn an Olympic berth. The U.S. men should be led by Mike Glasder, who won the U.S. Olympic Trials in December and was named to the 2018 Olympic Team, along with Will Rhoads and Kevin Bickner, who are still attempting to secure their Olympic spots.
