Season three of SundanceTV’s original non-fiction series “Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter” continues on Sunday, February 4th at 10/9am CT with a roundtable discussion with six of the year’s most acclaimed actresses speaking candidly about the normalization of inequality, harassment issues plaguing Hollywood and female empowerment.
Moderated by The Hollywood Reporter’s Matthew Belloni, Mary J. Blige (Mudbound), Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game), Allison Janney (I, Tonya), Jennifer Lawrence (Mother!), Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird) and Emma Stone (Battle of the Sexes) also discuss which roles they gravitate towards, how certain roles have changed their lives, the pressure of portraying real-life characters and the worst career advice they have ever been given.
Nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2017, “Close Up with the Hollywood Reporter” represents a continued commitment by SundanceTV to innovative, informative unscripted programming that sheds light on the world of filmed storytelling and popular culture.
