WELCOME to the 2018 Unibet Premier League, as the sport’s widest-reaching event enjoys its biggest-ever season.
The tournament will take in arena venues in the UK and Ireland, visits the Netherlands for a third year and will be making its debut in Germany this year, where 11,000 fans will pack the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin.
Ten players begin the season, with the first phase seeing the players meet once over the opening nine weeks before the bottom two players from the league table are eliminated following Judgement Night.
The remaining eight players then meet again in the second phase of the season, before the top four players from the final league table progress to the Play-Offs.
A £25,000 bonus is on offer for the League Winner following the 15 league nights, while the £825,000 total prize money includes a £250,000 first prize to the eventual champion.
All league games are the best of 12 legs, with matches being either the first player to win seven legs or a six-all draw. Two points are awarded for a win and one point is awarded for a draw. The Semi-Finals will be the best of 19 legs, and the Final is the best of 21 legs.
