The Walking Dead - Disc Plans are Alive and Walking for 'The Complete 8th Season' No availability date yet, but Amazon is taking advance orders for DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

The survivors trudge on, and as of this writing there are three episodes left in the current season of AMC's long-running series. Now Amazon has begun taking pre-orders for releases of The Walking Dead - The Complete 8th Season on both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. These listings are prior to the official Lionsgate announcement for the item, though, so instead of a street date Amazon merely says "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, currently showing $70.98 SRP and $80.99 SRP, respectively (you can, of course, guarantee your copy right away, if you order it using either of the above links). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entry, nor package art. And there's no word yet, either, on the special Limited Edition release which usually accompanies each season set (but those usually have been coming later on). We'll update you further on this title, of course, as further developments occur. Stay tuned!
