In the clip, Cyrus implores Prince Liam to stick with the plan to bring King Robert down, but Liam objects. He sees that his love for Catherine made him want to seek revenge. King Robert overhears their heated discussion and stops as he’s walking by Cyrus’ door.

In the clip, King Robert addresses the commonwealth, letting them know that because the government is unfit to govern, he’s dissolving it altogether and taking the reins himself. Helena, Liam and Cyrus are shocked, and Eleanor is happy he’s taking over.
