NBC News’ Kate Snow—Who Interviewed 27 Cosby Accusers Together For an Emmy-Winning Special in 2015 — Now Sits Down with Constand as well as Four Other Cosby Accusers who Testified Against Him in April
May 29, 2018 – NBC News’ Kate Snow sits down for an exclusive in-depth interview with Andrea Constand, the first woman to pursue charges against Bill Cosby that ultimately led to his conviction. Breaking her silence for the first time in her one and only interview, Constand describes in detail the harrowing sexual assault, Cosby’s trial and retrial and becoming a powerful symbol for some 60 women who have publicly accused the television icon. The special edition of “Dateline” titled “Bringing Down Bill Cosby: Andrea Constand Speaks,” airing Friday, June 1 at 10pm ET/9pm CT, also includes an interview with four other Cosby accusers who testified against him in April and Andrea’s mother, Gianna Constand.
Reporting on Cosby for several years, Snow exclusively interviewed a group of 27 Cosby accusers as part of Dateline’s Emmy-winning special in 2015, “The Cosby Accusers Speak.” And now, three years later, Constand, who wasn’t able to participate in the 2015 group interview, will reveal all to Snow for the first time on television.
“Bringing Down Bill Cosby: Andrea Constand Speaks” features Snow’s interviews with Janice Baker-Kinney, Lise-Lotte Lublin, Heidi Thomas and Chelan Lasha, all four of whom testified against Cosby in April. The one-hour broadcast on Friday also includes interviews with Dolores Troiani and Bebe Kivitz, Constand’s attorneys and Angela Rose of PAVE (Promoting Awareness Victim Empowerment), an advocacy group for survivors of sexual assault. The program is produced by Marianne Haggerty, Marianne O’Donnell, Sue Simpson, Robert Buchanan and senior producer Ellen Mason.
