"Saturday Night Live" compatriots Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Seth Meyers serve as creators, executive producers and writers of this IFC original series, using their love of documentary films and combining it with comedy to present a unique take on the form. Hosted by Dame Helen Mirren and starring Armisen and Hader, each episode is shot in a different documentary film style, paying tribute to some of the most important stories that didn't actually happen. "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels also executive produces "Documentary Now!," and guest stars include Jack Black, John Slattery, Anne Hathaway, Maya Rudolph, Mia Farrow, Peter Fonda, Paul Thomas Anderson, Faye Dunaway, Cameron Crowe and more! "Documentary Now! is so wonderfully silly it may take viewers a moment to recognize just how smart it is, too." - TheWrap. Originally aired on IFC; Season 3 is scheduled to air in 2019. With the show renewed for a third season, Mill Creek Entertainment has won the rights to bring you DVD ($24.98 SRP) and high-def Blu-ray Disc ($29.98 SRP) releases of the first two seasons with Documentary Now! - Seasons 1 & 2. Both formats will be 2-disc sets, and will be available starring August 7th. Digital copies of the episodes are also included as a bonus, via MCE's proprietary digital streaming service, "Watch Mill Creek." Other extras, if any, are still to-be-decided.
