NBC Orders Fourth Season of "Blindspot"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has renewed its Friday night drama "Blindspot" for a fourth season, a network spokesperson confirmed this morning.
The Peacock further detailed the project as follows:
The cast includes Sullivan Stapleton, Jaimie Alexander, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson and Luke Mitchell.
Creator and writer Martin Gero ("Bored to Death," "L.A. Complex") serves as executive producer along with Greg Berlanti ("Arrow," "The Flash" "Legends of Tomorrow") and Sarah Schechter ("Arrow," "The Flash" "Legends of Tomorrow").
"Blindspot" is a production of Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions, and Quinn's House.
This season, "Blindspot" has been generating a 1.2 rating in 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall in L+7 Nielsen ratings, to improve the Friday 8 p.m. timeslot by +9% versus NBC's year-earlier results in 18-49. "Blindspot" has added substantial viewership via time-shifting, increasing by +94% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" Nielsens to "live plus seven day."
