NBC to Take "A.P. Bio" for a Second Season

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has renewed its midseason comedy "A.P. Bio" for a sophomore run, a network spokesperson confirmed this afternoon.
The Peacock further detailed the project as follows:
"A.P. Bio" stars Glenn Howerton, Patton Oswalt, Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Jean Villepique, Tom Bennett, Paula Pell, Charlie McCrackin, Jacob McCarthy, Aparna Brielle, Nick Peine, Allisyn Ashley Arm, Eddie Leavy, Jacob Houston, Sari Arambulo, Tucker Albrizzi and Spence Moore II also star.
"A.P. Bio" is written and executive produced by Mike O'Brien. Seth Meyers, Mike Shoemaker, Andrew Singer and Lorne Michaels also serve as executive producers. "A.P. Bio" is produced by Universal Television, Broadway Video and Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions.
"A.P. Bio" is averaging a 1.2 rating in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall in L+7 Nielsens, while delivering one of the most highly educated audiences on the broadcast networks - "A.P. Bio" indexes at a 149 among adults 18-49 with four or more years of college (100 represents an average concentration of those households) to rank #3 among primetime series on the Big 4 networks.
