Sidney Sheldon's medical thriller tells the story of three female doctors trying to prove themselves in a profession dominated by men. Each of them has their own story, and each of their tales are well connected and intertwined with each other. But suddenly there is chaos, one dies, another is about to get the hospital shut down, and the third faces the death penalty for murder. Starring : Gail O'Grady (NYPD Blue), Brooke Shields (The Blue Lagoon), Vanessa Williams (Desperate Housewives), Chris Noth (Sex and the City), Gerald McRaney (Simon & Simon, Major Dad, and Promised Land). Previously released on DVD about half a dozen years ago, but out-of-print and sometimes commanding top dollar on the used market, Visual Entertainment Inc. (VEI) has emailed us to say that a re-release is upcoming for Sidney Sheldon's Nothing Lasts Forever mini-series. The studio linked us to a listing at VEI's online studio store (see button link below), except that the date shown there is May 7th...2017. A year ago! We're sure that's a typo, however, and that they mean to say next Monday, here in 2018. They're also including it as part of their Mother's Day promotion, too.
