CBS NEWS IS NOMINATED FOR 31 EMMY AWARDS – MORE THAN ANY OTHER NEWS ORGANIZATION
60 Minutes” Receives 24, the Most for Any Single Program
CBS This Morning” Is the Only Broadcast Network Morning Show Nominated
CBS Evening News” and “CBS Sunday Morning” Receive Nominations

CBS News earned 31 News & Documentary Emmy Award nominations, more than any other news organization, it was announced today by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. 60 MINUTES led all programs with 24 Emmy nominations, while CBS THIS MORNING was the only broadcast network morning show nominated. The CBS EVENING NEWS and CBS THIS MORNING shared two nominations; separately, CBS THIS MORNING received two nominations, and the CBS EVENING NEWS received one. CBS SUNDAY MORNING took two nominations.

The 39th Annual News and Documentary Awards will be presented at a ceremony Monday, Oct. 1, at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.
