‘20/20’ INVESTIGATES THE DISAPPEARANCE OF KELSIE SCHELLING

‘20/20’ Airs Friday, Aug. 3 (10:01- 11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC

In 2013, 21-year-old Kelsie Schelling mysteriously vanished into thin air in Pueblo, Colorado, never to be seen again. Her family says surveillance video, text messages and other evidence point to boyfriend Donthe Lucas’ involvement. But then a series of Facebook messages to Kelsie’s mother raised new theories: Is the missing girl’s disappearance prompting someone to attempt extortion? Today, Lucas is facing murder charges and will be arraigned later this month. ABC News’ Ryan Smith investigated Kelsie’s mysterious disappearance, uncovering developments and questioning what may have really happened to her. “20/20” airs Friday, Aug. 3 (10:01–11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
