Heather Elvis’ Father tells Dateline in First National TV Interview: “We’re not giving up”

October 30, 2018 – The parents of missing South Carolina woman Heather Elvis, Debbi and Terry Elvis, open up to NBC News’ Andrea Canning about the search for their daughter in Friday’s all-new Dateline NBC, entitled The Landing. Terry explains, “We’re not giving up … Everything else takes a back seat. It really does. Life does not go on. People around you, life goes on. But you’re still stuck, you’re holding onto the hope.” The sit-down interview marks the first time Heather Elvis’ parents are speaking out on national television since Tammy Moorer was convicted of Heather’s kidnapping last week. Friday’s broadcast also features interviews with Heather’s sister, Morgan, and her friend, Brianna Warrelmann. Additionally, Tammy Moorer sits down for her first interview since being convicted. Dateline first reported Heather’s story on the broadcast’s Missing in America digital series, shortly after she disappeared in December 2013.
