LORI LOUGHLIN AND VICTOR WEBSTER STAR IN ‘HOMEGROWN CHRISTMAS’ PREMIERING SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL
Part of the Network’s “Countdown to Christmas” Programming Event
STUDIO CITY, CA – November 2, 2018 – Lori Loughlin (“When Calls the Heart,” “Garage Sale Mysteries”) and Victor Webster (“A Harvest Wedding,” “Chesapeake Shores”) star in Hallmark Channel’s “Homegrown Christmas,” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, December 8 (8 p.m. ET/PT) as part of the network’s #1-rated programming event, COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS. Hallmark Channel is historically the #1 television network in all of Q4. Shoe designer, Maddie (Loughlin) sells her company and comes home for Christmas to “navigate the in-between with family.” Unsure of the reception she’ll get from her former beau Carter (Webster) or her sister, Maddie is ready to discuss the past but Carter and her sister aren’t ready, and both are busy with work and turning the barn into Santa’s workshop for the holiday dance. Wanting to help, Maddie works with Carter on the barn, and the two can’t help but reminisce. Deeply in love, they broke up when she moved to New York to be the next Coco Chanel and he stayed behind, but now the two can’t deny they still have feelings for one another. Hoping to reconnect with her sister while falling for Carter all over again, Maddie decides to stay in her hometown. But when a famous pop star wants her to start a new shoe line, Maddie’s opportunity has finally come knocking again-although she’d hoped it would be in her hometown and not back in New York. “Homegrown Christmas” is a Homegrown Productions Inc. film in association with Front Street Pictures. Harvey Kahn and Charles Cooper are the producers. Mel Damski directs from a screenplay by Nina Weinman.
