January 30, 2019 – Dateline NBC takes an inside look at O.J. Simpson’s infamous Bronco car chase and subsequent standoff with the LAPD SWAT team, 25 years since the brutal murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, on Friday, February 1 at 10pm ET/9pm CT. Chasing O.J. Simpson: The Untold Stories focuses on those tense three hours that riveted the country, and includes deposition tapes from Simpson’s civil case and audio from a cell phone inside the Bronco, shedding new insight on that day.

The one-hour broadcast features eyewitness accounts from the people who were there during the car chase, and those inside the gates of Simpson’s estate during the high-stakes standoff, including Simpson’s close friend Robert Kardashian and Simpson’s oldest son Jason Simpson. Simpson himself is also heard on the deposition tapes revealing what he was thinking during those moments.To watch a preview, click here.

Correspondent Josh Mankiewicz speaks with key players who give minute-by-minute details of those events watched by 95 million people, including then-LAPD homicide detective Tom Lange, then-LAPD commander David Gascon and then-SWAT commander Mike Albanese. Additionally, Kris Jenner, Nicole Brown Simpson’s friend, Marcia Clark, the lead prosecutor in the murder trial, and Roger Sandler, who was on assignment for TIME/LIFE magazines and was the only photojournalist allowed inside Simpson’s estate during the standoff, share their accounts of that day. The program is produced by senior broadcast producer Adam Gorfain and lead producer Robert Dean.
