“Rancho Contento” – Louis tries his best to convince Jessica to consider early retirement, but she’s having none of it. When Eddie looks for advice on how to be a better person for Tina and win her back, he ends up watching her favorite TV show, “Sex and the City,” for clues on “Fresh Off the Boat,” FRIDAY, MARCH 15 (8:00–8:30 p.m. EDT), as part of the new TGIF programming block on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

Inspired by a true story, “Fresh Off the Boat” stars Randall Park as Louis Huang, Constance Wu as Jessica Huang, Hudson Yang as Eddie Huang, Forrest Wheeler as Emery Huang, Ian Chen as Evan Huang, Lucille Soong as Grandma Huang, Chelsey Crisp as Honey and Ray Wise as Marvin.

Guest starring is Isabel Oliver Marcus as Tina, Trevor Larcom as Trent and Rachel Cannon as Diedre.

“Rancho Contento” was written by Amelie Gillette and directed by Jude Weng.

“Fresh Off the Boat” was written by Nahnatchka Khan, who also serves as executive producer. Jake Kasdan, Melvin Mar, Keith Heisler and Matt Kuhn are executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television. 

“Fresh Off the Boat” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format with 5.1-channel surround sound. This episode carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
