Raiders, Cardinals, 49ers, Broncos - Teams with Top-10 NFL Draft Picks Featured
ESPN's Monday Night Football 2019 preseason action kicks off Thursday, Aug. 15, when the new-look Oakland Raiders, led by quarterback Derek Carr, visit the Arizona Cardinals under new, offensive-minded head coach Kliff Kingsbury, at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Oakland's retooled roster includes All Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown and LT Trent Brown who won Super Bowl LIII with the Patriots.
The second game of the MNF preseason will feature quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers visiting Super Bowl-winning quarterback Joe Flacco and the Denver Broncos, at 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19. San Francisco's Garoppolo is returning from a knee injury while Flacco, formerly with the Baltimore Ravens, is entering his first season with the Broncos under new head coach Vic Fangio.
With all four teams holding Top 10 picks in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft, the preseason matchups on Monday Night Football are sure to feature some of the year's top NFL Draftees.
Both MNF preseason games will be preceded by a one-hour preseason edition of Monday Night Countdown.
All games will also be available to stream live on mobile, tablets, computers and connected devices via authentication in the ESPN App, accessible nationwide to fans who receive ESPN's networks as part of their video subscription from an affiliated provider."
ESPN Deportes, ESPN's 24-hour Spanish-language domestic sports network, will again offer a Spanish-language production of MNF preseason and regular-season games in 2019.
ESPN's MNF commentator team, as well as the 2019 MNF regular-season schedule, will be announced at a later date.
