-- Series Are The Latest From The Ever-Popular Walter Presents Library --
Arlington, VA – April 30, 2019 – This May, PBS Distribution will begin streaming three new international crime dramas from the renowned Walter Presents library on the PBS MASTERPIECE Prime Video Channel. These captivating binge-worthy thrillers include: the dark, addictive story of betrayal and revenge, REBORN (May 10); the second season of the compelling, addictive thriller, THE COURT (May 24); and the Belgian crime drama with a sinister edge, ROUGH JUSTICE (May 31). Information about each program is listed below.
REBORN
The French crime-thriller REBORN takes witness-protection to a whole new level. Felon Alexis Marceau (Bruno Debrandt, Spiral, Cain) gives up his criminal friends in exchange for immunity. With his new identity, he also has reconstructive surgery to make him unidentifiable.
Six years have passed and he is now known as Matthias Leblanc. He is working in Turin, Italy as a construction worker when judge Delphine Baron who offers to revoke his house arrest, in exchange for three months of service, approaches him. This means working undercover at his old job where he and his partner ran a small shipping business controlling the traffic of illicit goods. Matthias is hesitant but accepts - no one knows he’s alive, or will recognize his new face. But he knows the people, place and methods better than anyone.
Once undercover and back in Dunkirk, Alexis struggles to keep away from his ex-wife and son. And to make matters worse, his affection for his old life returns - the camaraderie, the easy money, and the adrenaline. But this time he is more reckless and the stakes are higher than ever before.

Brynhildur finds out that her unborn child might have a genetic disease and then her world falls apart when her fiancé, and the father of her baby, is involved in a terrible accident. ROUGH JUSTICE
Set in Antwerp, Belgium, Superintendent Liese Meerhout leads her close-knit team in the homicide division to the bottom of the city’s darkest crimes. Liese is no ordinary defender of the law. She’s brash, breaks the rules and quite literally bangs the drum in her department. Always seeking to protect the vulnerable and maintain justice in the greatest sense, she is not afraid to push the boundaries to get to the bottom of even the most complex cases -- usually using unorthodox methods. But when haunting emails from an anonymous sender start appearing in her inbox, a case she thought she had long put behind her resurfaces, and the usually steely and implacable superintendent becomes unnerved.
Beautifully shot with a rousing soundtrack, ROUGH JUSTICE is a thrilling series based on the novels by Toni Coppers.
