“60 Minutes” Receives Five, More than any other Broadcast News Program
“CBS This Morning” Is the Only Broadcast Network Morning Show to Win
“48 Hours” Wins
CBS News took six awards at the 40th News & Documentary Emmys last night, more than any other broadcast network. 60 MINUTES received more than any other broadcast news program with five statuettes, while CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning show to be honored. CBS THIS MORNING and 48 HOURS took home the Emmy for their collaboration on the CBS News special “39 Days,” a primetime documentary about the student activist movement that followed the school shooting in Parkland, Fla.
