DATELINE NBC TAKES OVER FRIDAY NIGHTS STARTING TOMORROW WITH ALL-NEW TWO-HOUR BROADCASTS FOR THE 28TH SEASON

September 26, 2019 –Dateline NBC kicks off its 28th season with all-new two-hour broadcasts starting tomorrow, Friday, September 27 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. The true-crime original series will air two-hour episodes every Friday through May 2020.
Tomorrow’s broadcast features the unbelievable story of how the murder of one woman, Betsy Faria, set off a chain of events leaving one man dead, another man implicated and a diabolical scheme exposed. Keith Morrison, who has reported on this case for over five years, will unravel the latest chapter, including why Betsy’s friend, Pamela Hupp, impersonated a real-life Dateline producer. Additionally, NBC’s longest running primetime series recently won the 3rd quarter, beating ABC’s 20/20 across the board in all key measurements, including total viewers, A25-54 and A18-49. This marked Dateline’s seventh consecutive third quarter win.
Dateline’s weekend encore of The Landing, a report by Andrea Canning, will feature new developments on the case for missing South Carolina woman Heather Elvis. Due to NBC’s primetime schedule, the broadcast will air at different start times and dates this weekend, according to time zones:
